The Lion King Musical Singapore

Just finished watching The Lion King Musical at Marina Bay Sands Theatre.. The experience was PRICELESS. Purchased the cat 4 tix at a 8% discount coz i'm working in OCBC hah.. watched with Ruth, Zac and Nat...

Hated the marina bay sands carpark! its so jammed up and we were stuck there till we missed the s starting of the show.. oh wellz, luckily you tube has the starting haha~


When we reach, its showing the part where Simba and Nala were playing ("Just can't wait to be King" that song hah), before going to Scar's den...The story and the script were almost exactly the same! Esp the script! its like word for word, exactly the same as the cartoon! omg...It all brings back so many childhood memories.. One of my favourite disney movie... ^_^

The scene settings, back drop, singers, crew, the instrumentalist, conductor, omg, they were all so amazing!!! It's all worth the money, seriously, i would be willing to be $200 to go for it... I already had high expectations for this musical, since its so popular and so many people told me that its good. And after watching it, i'm still touched and amazed, as it had highly exceeded my expectation... I was so close to tears during some parts of the show... Partly coz of some of the scenes, but a lot due to being touched by the hardwork and effort put in by each and every performers....The voices are heavenly.. Each and every single one of them. I bet anyone of them can bet and win American Idol... Their voices are so STRONG and POWERFUL!

Maybe coz of being in 6 years of choir, I can understand how hard and difficult it can be, how many practice sessions needed to bring such a musical to such a high standard... Just feel so touched that its so successful...

The audiences gave them a standing ovation... I feel so proud for them!!! Standing and clapping for them also reminds me of the standing ovation we got when we performed in Xiamen... its really a very unique feeling when u see audiences standing up and clapping for u. its like the sweat and tears you put in is worth it. I bet the lion king crew think so too... And they really did a great job.

If any of u reading this have yet to watch The Lion King Musical in Singapore, do watch it. I promise you. It is priceless and worth every cents of your money and every moment of your life. But pls don't drive and park there HAHA.

DONE AND OVER

just feel like moving to a new blog. Its like this blog is damn dead for monthsssssss~ coz i'm damn busy.. Now that its over, shall blog some interesting stuff since Jan 2011 hahah

Hmm.. so yar, i was rather busy when sch started all the way till it ended. Coz I took up my final year project this semester (thou i'm just yr 3, and 1 more yr b4 i graduate). But its like a trend to do FYP during year 3 , so yeap, ventured into it. The learning curve is the steepest that i've encountered, but i did learn a lot on build a flash game. haha. In the end, did up a farmville like flash game for our client.

This semester was horror. The mods i took were killer mods and I really pray hard that my results will not be too bad. Haiz.

Anywayz, had an extremely interesting Chinese new yr outing this yr. Went out with the OB gang (very singer ppz) first to Zac's hse to bai4 nian2 and then... to Holland Village during Midnite! What's more interesting was that we met up with the OB crew! Junyang, JJ and By2! ^_^
Had quite a lot of fun playing games with them, and I must really say that By2 looks a lot more prettier in person, and i really prefer them with little make up :)
The game we played were fun. Didn't take pix wif them, coz first i didn't bring my camera, but more imptantly, dun think they want us to treat them as "stars" haha. really had a lot of fun then :)

And then, for my B-dae, dar brought me to this mexican restaurant at Dempsey, called La Salsa :) love the ice cream they serve! its nice . Dar bought me a wallet which is much needed, as my "ex-wallet" 's seriously too big for my liking haha...

and my brother got married .haha. yeap :p let me seeeee. what's more hur.. Oh, a few meet ups here and there wif my JC clique, and oso sent Jiening off to Jap~~~~ boohoo~ 157 ppz are flying offffff~

btw, i'm apply to Xiamen for exchange wif dar, so yeap, hopefully both of us can get it!

and nothing much to update for now. Juz that i gotta my internship at OCBC which starts next monday. Yeap. till then :)

Finally

yesh i noe. this blog is NOT dead yet hahah~ give me 3 to 4 more weeks, and i will update it once and for all.. i shall summarize frm jan 2011 till then after my sem ends~ busy sem wif no time to sleep, let alone blog~ buaiz haha~

Just came out from the the 19th stage of hell...

finally some fresh air to relax for A WHILE.
last weekend, it was AA (an SIS module) madness.... stayed over on last sunday to rush out our codes and set up the servers to present on the next day...This AA presentation.... i think its the most demoralising presentation i had... I was already very gruchy due to the lack of sleep, and when the prof start shooting and "mocking", i was super pissed and i actually held back some tears... Its like we put in SOOOO MUCH TIME and EFFORT, yet it wasn't paid off coz things juz aren't working...

After that, my team venture into our EWS (2nd SIS module) which was due just the recent tuesday.... Its like no breaks in between due to the lack of time... During this period, i oso gotta prepare for my marketing 101 presentation which happens to be on the same day....We code and code and code, and on the recent monday, i stayed till 3 plus 4am in sch, after which dar drove me home (he was studying in SMU while i was coding with my team) and slept frm like erm 6am plus and then go to sch at like 10 am plus.... Went back to sch, con't coding (our deadline was on tue 330pm), chionged out for presentation at 2 plus , came back, and rush coding again... This happens all the way till 7 plus pm when we present..

thats not the end. After this EWS presentation, I have to go back and rush out a report which is due on wed (today) at 830AM. wow. great. soooo... i rush my report all the way till 6am plus in the morning... took a nap, wanting to wake up by 730am but overslept and woke up only at 830am... RUSHED for lessons and submitted my reports...

Yea, and so i have not really slept for consecutively 2 days? tts SMU for u manz. ok, should say SIS SMU, coz i believe the other sch's won't reach this extremely.
This is YR3 Sem 1 for me.... omg. wad abt the following 3 Sems... OMG....

gastric yucks.

yea~ tts my medicine gotta frm A&E due to my toopid gastric. i think its the worst gastric in my life. never experience such pain before. on a scale of 10, the pain level to me is like 8 or 9.

The gastric struck me yesterday, right after i had my lunch. yes, its not due to me skipping meals or wad. i ate a proper lunch: noodles, dumplings corn.

and then, the gastric started coming. at first it was quite mild.. but when i was on my way to school, it started getting strong... So, I rush to the doc in SMU right after i taken my quiz (during the break of my lesson)... gotten a jab and got some medicine from the doc... The gastric start to die down, and i thought it would be ok sooooon, so i went for my aunt's bdae dinner wif dar and ate dinner as usual, including an ice cream coffee cake...

and then..

i think the dinner made it much worst... the pain go from bearable to superb unbearable... dar drove me to Alexandra hospital A&E at 230AM, and I though i would get cured like immediately, coz its A&E. but i was wrong. superb pissed, esp when i'm in great pain. First, i gotta wait in front of a room where i was to have my blood pressure and stuff taken.. then gotta wait for the doc... the doc ask me wad happen, told him abt it, and I told him actually i always got gastric pain, juz tt this time, it wasn't able to cease even after the jab i got in the afternoon... So he suggest blood test, urine test and xray to be done. i say ok ok, then he start taking out stuff to take my blood. i was like. shit. the doc looks young, so he has little experience. i'm like shaking literally, coz it reminds me the time when i was quite young, a doc taking my blood for damn long coz he can't find my vessels on my arm. And i was right. this stupid doc oso can't find my vessels. and when he wanna try it on the back of my hands, i suggest to him to give me the gastric jab first! to cease my pain mah! he rubbish lo, keep saying wanna take blood first. was too weak to argue wif him, so i let him take. omg. its pain de lo! to have blood being taken frm the back of my hand!

after tt, he told me to go to wait in front of the xray rm to have my xray. i was like WTH, GIVE ME MY JAB! I"M IN PAIN! Dar oso damn angry, and he firmly ask the doc to give me the jab first. then the doc was like, ok ok, go in front of rm 11. u will have the jab. I was like YESH.

after waiting for some time in front of rm 11, rm 10 called me in instead. and it ws the xray room. WTH WTH WTH. sooooo, i had my xray, and later after tt, they ask me to have the urine test. ROARRRRR.

so, in the end, itwas only till 4 plus AM then i have my jab. OMG. wads this?! I tot u are suppose to CURE the patient first?! i'm in GREAT GREAT PAIN u noe! and u are putting the jab last? OMG. not goin back to tt hospital again. crazy.

yea, and then dar drove me home and i reached home ard 6am. omg. felt better now... but still got a bit of gastric everytime when i eat. sigh. hate gastric! but i do have lotsa medicine now, if another gastric attack occurs. haha.
